Xin Yun Choir

Xin Yun Choir was formerly known as KLBC Chinese Choir. Xin Yun (心韵) means “Melody from the Heart” and it was the name adopted by the choir members in 2000.

Today, Xin Yun Choir is made up of twenty-two members whose ages range from fourteen to eighty-six. The different age groups contribute to a rich variety of voice quality as we sing together in four- part harmony (soprano, alto, tenor and bass). We believe singing traditional Christian hymns that have simple rhythms and melodies can be quickly learned and harmonized. This is a great way to connect spiritually with God and other believers in the congregation. Xin Yun Choir sings twice a month in the Chinese worship service in KLBC.

Within the Choir, a small committee of five makes general decisions on behalf of the choir members. Bible study for members is also held on alternate Sundays from 1.45 p.m. – 3.45 p.m.

Choir practice hours are as follows:

Choir Practice Hours
Sunday 9:30am – 11:00am
